How can we make a competetive advantage? How can we improve quality, and realize shorter manaufacturing times? How can we decrease our industrial waste with leaner processes? These were the types of questions recently facing the management team at DHS Corperation, a leading harness manufacturer for industrial vehicles, located in Ohio USA.
After extensive searches online and countless trade show visits, they eventually invited Max Company to demonstrate products and more about how our unique and customizable printing solutions can improve their business.
Originally we were using a thermal transfer label printer for harness marking. The label printer uses a pre-cut labels that come on a roll. We didn't have time to change label sizes, and would use large diamater labels for all the markers. We switched to Bepop in order to take advantage of its unique cutting system, which is integrated in the printer. The Bepop can print mutiple sizes of different labels on the same sheet, so we can mark both harnesses and wires using the same print. This decreased costs and industrial waste.
The Wire Harness industry is extremely competitve. We try to make our custom harnesses with a high level of quality, and provide unbeatable service to our customers. With the Bepop, we were able to add our coprerate brand to the wire harness labels. This way our satisfied downstream clients know they are getting a DHS Wire Harness.
